One of our most popular services is our intensive Intervention Program. This includes 4 consecutive five-hour days with you and your dog, working through all behavioral issues, creating a new foundation and relationship. This is designed for dog owners that want to be fully involved in the training process, while still receiving a deeply immersive and intensive program. You will work hand in hand with Lisa to tackle every psychological and behavioral issue, gaining knowledge that will greatly impact your relationship with your dog. This program will show you a new way of living, as you build new routines and activities, setting the foundation for the rest of your dogs life.
For over 10 years, K9BC's Owner and Head Trainer, Lisa Porter, has worked with Cesar Millan on his personal Training Cesar's Way team, and as a behaviorist and consulting producer on his Nat Geo TV show "Better Human Better Dog".
At K9 Behavior college we fully believe in Cesar's philosophy of trust, resect and love when it comes to dog and human relationships. Dogs can be well trained but still have anxiety, obsession, insecurity and other psychological issues that lead to many bad behaviors. We address dog psychology before dog training, because we understand that the mental state of the dog ultimately determines their behavior. We know that our relationship with them affects whether or not they will look to us for direction, or respect our rules and boundaries. Our goal is never to simply "suppress behavior"but instead to create a calm, happy, balanced state-of-mind, and a mutually trusting and respectful relationship. K9BC's trainers have proven track records of success with just about any issue, from severe anxiety to red-zone aggression. Our specialized dog training programs are designed to truly fulfill your dogs needs - while building confidence and positive communication on both sides.
